As experienced obstetricians, we recognize the miracle of childbirth is how much goes right. We trust the natural process of childbirth and specialize in un-medicated natural deliveries for clients who desire an alternative. We are the chosen referral physicians of the Certified Nurse Midwives at the Birth and Women’s Center.
We provide traditional methods of childbirth including epidural, sonography and pain management. If an unforeseen complication arises, we are skilled. In high-risk cases, such as multiple gestation, diabetes and hypertension, we provide state-of-the-art medical technology.
Our Success
The national cesarean section rate averages 30%. IWH’s cesarean section rate is consistently below 15%. This is a direct reflection of our care and personal hands-on management of your labor. In addition, we continue to provide vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) as an option in delivery for the motivated patient. Our success rate is greater than 70%.
