Breast Health

Breast health is an increasingly important aspect of women’s lives, and routine care is the optimal way to keep you and your breasts healthy. Every woman should take regular measures to care for her body.

As a part of our complete healthcare service, we offer genetic counseling, mammography and breast ultrasounds. Together, we will develop a plan based on your overall health, medical history, family history and personal preferences with a focus on prevention.

Bone Health

A common objective for the mature woman is maintaining optimal bone density, to keep bones healthy, strong and less likely to break as we age.

A bone density test can determine if you have, or are at risk of, osteopenia (mild loss) or osteoporosis (severe loss). The test measures the amount of calcium and other bone minerals within a segment of bone. The higher your mineral content, the denser – and stronger – your bones are. The test is a fairly accurate predictor of your risk – the results let you know how you compare with other people of your age, sex and similar characteristics.

Although routine screening and early detection reduces the number of women affected by breast cancer, approximately 66% of women are not getting annual mammograms.
